At Exemplars, I’ve had the opportunity to create a wide range of illustrations, from advertising and explainer videos to product graphics, each with its own unique purpose and creative challenge.
Portraits
One of my first assignments at Exemplars inc. was to to replace all the clip art used in their professional development courses. As a joke, I replaced one of the images with a cartoon of my boss. After word got out of the image, consultants were asking me for their own cartoon portrait. Now our various products feature cartoons of my coworkers and our consultants.
Corporate Memphis
Corporate Memphis, first popularized by Facebook, was a bold, flat, and minimalistic illustration style that quickly became the go-to look for tech branding. Though it faded due to overuse, I really enjoyed creating within the style while it was at its peak.
Illustration with Animation
Some of the illustrations I created at Exemplars needed to come to life through animation, and that process was always fun and rewarding.
